Today I want to talk about accomplishments. If you’re anything like me, you set goals, achieve them, and then don’t really want to make a big deal of them. But why not? Life is short and what you accomplish should be celebrated, no matter how large or small. If you set a goal and successfully complete it, celebrate! Be proud of what you do and are doing!
I think many people might see this as bragging, but I don’t. Completion of a goal is an accomplishment, whether you believe it or not. I’m not saying that you should make a whole big to-do of it (unless that’s your style and you want to, then go for it!) but be proud of all you do. This has been something that is hard for me. But I’m at a point where I am very proud of all I’ve done and I want to share! I no longer choose to be constrained by what others think of me and I live my life the way that I want. If I get made fun of for having a blog or people criticize my Instagram pictures, so what? My blog is my baby and I thoroughly enjoy connecting with you all here. I am proud of it!
I’m sure that you have accomplishments and goals that you have been shy about and did not want to share. Today I just want to encourage you to stop being shy!! If there’s something you’ve been wanting to do but felt you couldn’t because of -insert your reason here- just do it! And when you are successful at it or meet any of your goals, celebrate!!
Two of my biggest goals right now are:
- To surpass 1,000 followers on my Instagram (with smaller, more attainable goals leading up to it)
- Create 3 quality blog posts each week for you on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays
So far, I am working hard towards those two goals and I am super proud of the progress I’ve made. While I’m not fully there yet, I feel that it should be celebrated. I work very hard and put a ton of time into these two goals. You work hard and you are successful and you should celebrate, too!
What is an accomplishment or goal that you will choose to celebrate today? Let me know in the comments below so that I can celebrate with you!
