‘Tis the season of thankfulness.
This time of the year makes me reflect on the word thankful. What am I thankful for? What does being thankful mean?
I think that sometimes, it’s easy to point out everything that’s wrong/bad in our lives, instead of stepping back and being appreciative of the good. I’d like to say I’m an optimistic person, but everyone has their moments.
This year I have so much to be thankful for: my family, friends, and my boyfriend. I’m thankful for all of the new friends I’ve made (who are we kidding, I made one new friend- hi Amanda) and also for the friends that I’ve reconnected with. I’m also thankful for the new experiences and all of the traveling I’ve done.
I’m especially thankful for finally figuring out my life’s purpose. I’m pursuing a career in teaching and I couldn’t be more excited for it. (I recently babysat a bunch of littles and I just love kids so much-it’s a dream of mine to own a daycare.) I’m also extremely thankful for the encouragement and support that I’ve received for this blog. the veg beauty is my child and to receive such kind words and support about it means the whole entire world to me (@Aves). (Also, shout out to Isabella for being my biggest fan, xo. I love you girl<3)
I am thankful for each and every one of my readers. Thank you for taking the time to read my posts. Without you, the veg beauty would be nothing.
Life is so good. Cherish it. Even on the bad days.
