Wet n Wild Appreciation

Hey guys!

In the past, I always thought that Wet n Wild was more for younger girls just starting out with makeup, rather than someone like me. Boy, was I wrong! I have recently fell in love with Wet n Wild and I have my roommate to thank for that. Their highlighting and blush shades are everything! I was skeptical at first, but once I got my hands on some new products, I was completely taken aback. Plus, the price tag is super affordable, which is always a plus in my book.

Left to Right: To Reflect Shimmer Palette and MegaGlo Illuminating Powder

Among the first new products I picked up was the To Reflect Shimmer Palette in Boozy Brunch. At first, I was scared to try it because of the swirls of color. I didn’t really know how it would look on my face but WOW. This has been my go-to highlighter ever since I purchased it. The pigmentation is so nice and very blendable. This shade gives off a more gold-toned highlight. Best part? It’s only $5.99. I purchased mine at my local CVS.

Another product that I picked up was the MegaGlo Illuminating Powder in Catwalk Pink. This is also super pigmented and blendable. It gives off more of a pink-toned highlight. I usually mix the two lightest shades to use as a highlight. This retails for $4.99, and I also purchased this at my local CVS.

Color Icon Blush (L to R): Mellow Wine, Apri-Cot in the Middle, and Rosé Champagne

I love the Color Icon Blushes. I am obsessed with these blushes. Mellow Wine is probably my favorite out of the three. It is a matte shade, whereas Apri-Cot in the Middle and Rosé Champagne have a slight shimmer to them. They are only $2.99 each. That’s it! And the quality is still amazing. They are super blendable and give off a great pigment. If I’m running low on time and can’t do a full face, I’ll use one of the shimmer shades as a blush/highlight. They’re perfect for a natural glow.

MegaGlo Contouring Palette (L to R): Caramel Toffee and Dulce De Leche

The MegaGlo Contouring Palettes are also great (and only $4.99!). I use the lighter shades to set my concealer under my eyes to really brighten them up! The darker shades are perfect for contouring. The shades are buildable and blendable so you can achieve a nice bronzed color. The palette as a whole is great for traveling when you need to be space conscious, although I always pack way too much for trips!

Overall, I love Wet n Wild. Whenever I go to CVS, I’m always checking out their new products and seeing what else I could try. The price tag is super affordable, which is great if you’re just starting out in makeup or if you’re a pro. I definitely recommend these products to add to your collection!

Thanks for reading and let me know what Wet n Wild products you love!

xoxo,

Victoria
