Do you ever have those days where you’re running late and just throw on whatever clothes you can scramble to find? You just don’t feel right. At least I know I don’t. Well, today was one of those days for me. I was thinking about what topics I could cover for my blog and today was an inspiration for me. It’s getting to be really cold where I go to school, which makes it harder to get out of bed in the morning. Because of this, I always end up running late and as much as I appreciate perfectly winged liner and a cute pair of shoes, getting to class on time is more important to me than fixing up a cute outfit (considering that it takes me about an hour to get ready).
Over the summer, I went into complete clean freak mode and ripped apart my whole closet. I took out every piece of clothing I own and color coded my entire closet. As usual, I was distracted by my phone and then I came up with a brilliant idea: an app to organize your closet. So of course the App Store had “an app for that.” The Apple App Store has an app called Closet+ (I’m not sure if the Android store has anything, but I could check). It’s honestly so perfect for days where you just need to put an outfit together in a rush. All you have to do (and it can be tedious) is take photographs of each piece in your closet. They have every category from accessories to pants. After you complete that task, you can easily create outfits. And for people who are really particular (me), you can even set the last day you wore the outfit… you’ll never wear the same outfit twice in one month again! With the help of this app, you’ll realize how many awesome outfits you can create from the clothes you already own. It’s a way to refresh your sense of style without break the bank while also keeping yourself put together and organized. It’s brilliant.
